What is more, you can go to the resort of Bad Gastein, which is located 58 km away from our hotel. Both thermal baths Alpentherme and Felsentherme offer you a unique form of radon therapy. Alpentherme is dedicated for families with children ? for the youngest there is a waterslide and a panoramic cinema. ICE SKATING
The fun doesn?t end on the slope. In the nearby town of Zell am See there?s an ice rink. If weather conditions permit, ice skating on the frozen Lake Zell can be an amazing experience. The lake is surrounded by a breathtaking Alpine panorama, which makes ice skating even more enjoyable. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Cross-country skiing, Norwegian national sport is also popular in Austria. It is a perfect place to practice this sport. In total, the length of cross-country trails in our closest area equals 200 km. The trails are located at different heights starting from the Glacier Kitzsteinhorn, through the panoramic trail on Schmittenhöhe to the trails located in the valleys, which are crossing numerous alpine towns including the trail around the Lake Zell. The trails in Europa-Sportregion are directly connected to the trails in Saalachtal and Pinzgau, which simultaneously become a never-ending experience. SLEDGE AND SNOWTUBING TRACK IN BRUCK
A 3-km long sledge and snowtubing track was prepared for children and adults. It is located approximately 8 km from our hotel in Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße. The track is also open and lighted in the evening. To get to the top of the track you can use the toboggan express, which is available every hour after making a prior reservation. Sledges and snowtubes are to rent on the spot. You can also warm up there with mulled wine and sample local delicacies. VISIT SALZBURG ALSO IN WINTER
Salzburg, the baroque city of Mozart, the capital of the Salzburger Land, known for its picturesque location, street artists and numerous monuments, is located just over an hour?s drive away from our hotel. In winter, it is worth going there for a walk around the Old Town and visiting the Advent market, where the smell of mulled wine, baked apples, roasted almonds and Christmas gingerbread create a lovely Christmas atmosphere.
