{"id":79,"date":"2017-05-16T10:41:59","date_gmt":"2017-05-16T08:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postfusch.at\/?page_id=79"},"modified":"2021-08-11T12:18:24","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T10:18:24","slug":"przydatne-informacje","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/postfusch.at\/en\/attractions\/mountain-enthusiasts\/","title":{"rendered":"For Mountain Enthusiasts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"max-width: 860px; text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><strong>GLEIWITZER MOUNTAIN HUT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Who would think that in the Austrian Alps there are as many as <strong>3<\/strong> extremely picturesque mountain huts built at the turn of the <strong>19<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong>and <strong>20<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong>centuries by &#8230; Silesians ? the members of the German and Austrian Alpine Club (DOeAV), namely Kattowitzer H\u00fctte, Breslauer H\u00fctte and Gleiwitzer H\u00fctte. The red trail starting near our hotel will lead you to the stunning destination located at an altitude of <strong>2176 m a.s.l.<\/strong>\u00a0 The quiet trail passing through the forest will take you <strong>3 hours<\/strong>, but the amazing views from the Gleiwitzer H\u00fctte reward the hardship of hiking. For most adventurous guests we recommend climbing the Imbachhorn peak (<strong>2470m a.s.l.<\/strong>, about <strong>1.5 hour<\/strong> further from the Gleiwitzer H\u00fctte) with an amazing panorama of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the town of Zell am See. In addition, the Gleiwitzer H\u00fctte is a good accommodation base if you wish climbing the surrounding three-thousanders, namely Hoher Tenn <strong>3368 m a.s.l.<\/strong> and Schneespitze <strong>3317m a.s.l.<\/strong> These expeditions, however, require solid alpine experience and climbing equipment. Despite its high altitude (<strong>2764m above sea level)<\/strong>, Schwarzkopf is safe to hike during good weather conditions. In order to shorten the hike, it is worth going by a car to the car park in Bad Fusch (<strong>4 km<\/strong> of asphalt road from Fusch) and reaching the summit from there. Over a <strong>four-hour<\/strong> path to the summit runs through the forest and then leads to the ridge where the main climb begins. At the top, in addition to enjoying the views, it is worth writing in the memorial book called Gipfelbuch. It?s a perfect place for a walk with the family. Next to the Tauerngasthof you can find the path towards the Walcher Waterfall. The way to a fabulous view behind the waterfall takes about 2 hours.
